50 first dates:
In this title sequence the titles ripple like waves which ties in with the Hawaiian music that is playing. An image slowly moves and focuses on a pineapple then the picture behind it changes but the pineapple still there. This is all revelvant to the Hawaiian theme and sets the scene of the film.
Step up 2:
The titles to Step Up 2 starts with a low level. Then it has a memory and it shows this by saturated colours, the music is also distant like her memory, there is a narrator over the top. All of these conventions make the opening Sequence very momory like.

Edward scissor hands:
very zoomed in/cant work out what it is, door extreme close up and the opens then you go through it, titles white font on black background that flies in then the two words open like scissors, everything’s very zoomed (out of the ordinary) and the writings in odd shapes, low lighting, eerie/sad music, pictures/sequences fade into each other, looks as if its falling then it goes black and odd shapes appear like cookies then light comes back on and shows all the shapes, zooms out on pictures, zooms all the way out until you get an over the shoulder shot so it looks like everything you saw was a point of view shot.
Billy Elliot:
Close up on someone putting a record on a record player. Low level of record player in fore ground and feet jumping in the background (hard to workout what’s happening). Cuts to high level so that all you can see is the top of the boys head every time he jumps up. Wall paper in background blurred. Zooms out slightly to a mid shot and the wall paper comes into focus. Zooms in on different parts of his body when his in the air. Zooms out to long shot.
Sweeney Todd:
Black background slowly mist is coming over it, thick unrealistic rain starts to fall, shows a town and zooms in on a window on which a blood drop has splat. Cuts to a painting and zooms out of it, follows blood drops around onto ornaments and into the machines and everything then sizzling in the oven with pies.
